Bring your appetite- on this Vespa Adventures evening tour we’ll introduce you to some of Hue’s most famous dishes! The tour kicks off with cocktails or a cold beer as our guide introduces the evening’s plan and tempts your tastebuds with the list of dishes to come! We then take a short stroll to our first stop, a family-run Banh Beo restaurant where you’ll create your own steamed rice cake using a traditional recipe. After sampling your creation and washing it down with a beer, we jump back onto the Vespas and cruise through the streets of Hue, passing scenes of local life and the famed Perfume River. We park the scooters at a bustling local restaurant and grab a table to sample more classic Hue dishes, including grilled pork and Hue-style Vietnamese pancakes. Yum!
Back on the Vespas, zoom through the illuminated Citadel walls and by the riverside market stalls. Take in the sites, smells and sounds as you cruise through Hue’s streets! We’ll stop at another local favorite where some more exotic dishes are on offer- try them if you like or just take photos to share with friends back home! And finally we wrap up the evening with a Vietnamese dessert – pulling up a stool next to the locals, tasting things on the sweeter side. Then it’s time to say farewell to your Vespa Adventures team, as we drop you off at the hotel for the evening.
