Commitment

Vespa Adventures is proud to make an active effort in raising environmental awareness in Vietnam in partnership with Vietnam Sach & Xanh, sponsoring and helping in clean-ups, conferences, talks and other activities. Join our Green Commitment!

What We Do

In Vietnam, we work actively with Vietnam Sach & Xanh (Keep Vietnam Clean & Green), an organisation working to raise awareness in the country about littering & trash issues. VSVX also promotes the ‘Thee R’s’ – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, which helps eliminate waste & protect the environment. We also support them in various activities as follows:

  • Providing coaching to the management and operations team.
  • Sponsoring 100% of the regular clean ups in the country.
  • Participating in 50% of the community events in 2017.
  • Co-organising multiple Earth Day Clean Ups with 20 locations nationwide in 2017.
  • Helping the Green Turtle Army Project, a project that focuses on educating children about litter & trash issues in Vietnam.

We are frequently looking for opportunities to be a greener company and reinforcing our own commitment for a lower environmental impact.

  • We are reducing our printed marketing materials by 50% in 2018.
  • In Cambodia, we use low emission Vespas to combat air pollution.
  • We also run a company called Green Energy which is fully dedicated to the research of new and less contaminating combustibles.

Sustainable Tourism

Working side-by-side with locals in rural Vietnam & Cambodia, we have the opportunity to help them grow their businesses & gain extra income. By training small family workshops how to work with suppliers & also interact with foreigners, they will have the opportunity to reach more customers in the future.

We don’t just train our staff for our tours, we also train them for personal and professional growth. We strive to make a lasting impact on all of our staff so they all have the opportunity to grow both professionally & personally with Vespa Adventures & outside the company.

Earth Day

Since 1970, Earth Day has been held annually to show people’s care for the environment, and after 20 years it has become the largest environmental movement in the world. As an active member of Earth Day Network, in 2017, Viet Nam Sach Va Xanh (Keep Vietnam Clean and Green), hosted a successful Earth Day Clean-up in 5 big provinces in Vietnam which attracted 1,500 participants (a growth of 250% compared to ourselves in 2016) and spread the message to more than 150,000 people. Continuing that success, we are going to host the 2018 Earth Day Cleanup on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at many locations nationwide. Earth Day Cleanup 2018 aims for the participation of 5,000 people and attention of hundreds of thousands of media audience, leaving extensive positive impacts towards environment protection in Vietnam.
