Continuing our adventure, we’ll traverse picturesque back roads leading to the historic city of Co Loa, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely walk around this 17th-century site before delving further into the countryside. As we ride past verdant rice paddies and idyllic landscapes, we’ll discover a hidden wood carving village, observing skilled craftsmen as they meticulously sculpt traditional Buddhist statues.
To conclude our tour, we’ll visit a local family for an engaging conversation and a delightful snack, followed by a refreshing drink at a charming, scenic cafe.
After this off-the-beaten-path experience, our Vespas will transport you back to the city center and drop you off at your hotel.

The Hanoi Countryside Adventures tour runs at 8 AM and again at 1PM. Both tours include the same stops and same inclusions- of course there will be a slightly different vibe from the morning to the afternoon, as the tour is not staged and there are different rhythms of life throughout the day. This is a great way to get a truly local experience and see a side of Hanoi rarely seen by other tourists!
Vespa Adventures tours are capped at seven guests. This small group size gives you the opportunity to explore smaller villages and have great local interactions without feeling invasive. As well, with a maximum of seven guests you’ll have ample opportunity to chat with our guide and easily hear what he or she is saying. If you are a solo traveler, please know that our tours run even if just one traveler signs up- and, if this is the case, the price doesn’t change! If you are traveling with a larger group or wish to have a private tour, please tick the private tour option and we’ll organize a tour just for you and your friends with a 50% surcharge.
All Vespa Adventures Hanoi tours include a Vespa with an experienced driver, a top local guide and all entrance fees. We also include snacks and drinks, bottled water, entrance fees helmets and rain ponchos. You don’t need to reach into your pocket for anything unless you wish to do some shopping or tip your Vespa Adventures team!
