In the predawn hours our Vespa driver will greet you at the hotel and whisk you away from town, along backroads and into the Angkor Archeological Park. Meet your guide and fellow travelers at a quiet corner of Angkor Wat and watch as the rising sun casts its early rays over this majestic monument.
After the sun is up, head into Angkor Wat itself where your guide will point out incredible carvings, share fascinating legends and take you to hidden spots for the best photos. We then treat you to breakfast and coffee to refuel you for the rest of the tour!
Back on the Vespas, we spend the rest of the morning exploring more monuments and hidden laneways of the Angkor Archeological Park. We’ll dodge the busy roads and buses, using trails through the jungle, villages and rice fields to take you from temple to temple- a unique experience that cannot be done on four wheels! Stop often to take photos or to chat to the friendly folks we meet along the way. Among the temples visited are Angkor Thom, Bayon temple and Ta Prohm as well as a few smaller, but equally impressive, sites.
Following this remarkable adventure through the temples and trails, we return to town and drop you at your hotel in time for lunch and a well-deserved rest!

We will pick you up at your Siem Reap hotel around 4.40 AM for Our Angkor Sunrise tour. The exact pick up time will vary slightly depending on your hotel location, the time of year and whether or not you need to get an entrance pass. Once you have booked your tour, our reservations team will give you the precise time based on these factors.
Yes. As this trip visits many sites within the Angkor Archeological Park, an entrance pass is required. If you have not purchased a pass before the tour, please let us know and we will arrange for the drivers to take you by the ticket booth at the start of the tour. The pass is not required for children under 12 years old- proof of age will be required, so please bring the child’s passport along for verification.
All of our Siem Reap Vespa Adventures tours include guide, Vespa with experienced driver, helmet, rain poncho and umbrellas. This tour also includes breakfast with drinks and bottled water. All you’ll need to bring is your Angkor Archeological Pass (or purchase it on the way), your camera and some pocket money in case you want to buy some souvenirs along the way. As we will be visiting sacred sites, we request that you have your shoulders covered (or bring a shawl if you wear a sleeveless shirt) and wear knee-length shorts or trousers.
