The Cu Chi Tunnel Experience
Start the day early at 7:00 am to beat the large tour groups to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Travel there in style on one of Les Rives’ luxurious speedboats, while learning about life on the river as you glide through the floating hyacinths.
Explore the historic war site of Cu Chi, from weapons to underground bunkers. If you are feeling extra adventurous, you can even crawl through the authentic Viet Cong tunnels and try the local cassava root which the fighters sustained themselves on for years.
After the blast from the past at the Cu Chi Tunnels, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch right by the river. Then relax as the graceful Les Rives speedboat brings you back to Ho Chi Minh City.
At roughly 1pm, Vietnam Vespa Adventures will pick you up on restored vintage Vespas from Bach Dang pier to show you the best way to get off the beaten path of Saigon.
See a Saigon local’s lifestyle.
While cruising through the bustling streets like a local on the back of a scooter, see the sites that you would never find on your own. Learn about things such as small family business in the big city, the Chinese community and their influence of medicine, Vietnamese customs & religion, and more.
We will end at a hidden relaxing Buddhist Pagoda which has yet to be found by other tourists.
At around 4:30pm, the tour comes to an end and Vespa Adventures will drop you off at your hotel or residence.
We take safety seriously! Guests will sit behind experienced drivers throughout the tour.
Enjoying speedboat on rivers to see the Cu Chi tunnels in the morning and ride Vespa through hidden spots of Saigon.
Our Saigon Insider’s Vespa Adventure takes you to many hidden gems but also a few highlights. These include a photo stop outside Reunification Palace, a stroll through the historic Post Office and a short stop outside Notre Dame Cathedral.
Yes, our Vietnam Vespa Adventures tours run year-round. We take a short break (4 days) during the Tet lunar new year celebrations- the exact dates of the festival vary from year to year, but it usually falls in late January or the first part of February. If there is rain on the day of your tour- don’t worry! We still run the tour! We have high-quality rain ponchos for all drivers and guests, so if it is raining we just pull on the ponchos and carry on!
Yes, the Insiders Saigon Vespa tour can be booked on the same day as one of our evening tours- it’s a great way to dive deeper into the local culture! None of the stops are duplicated and you’ll have a different experience being on the Vespas in the day time and at night time. And we offer 10% off for repeat bookers!
