Experience the awakening of Hanoi in a unique, extraordinary way! Ride on our vintage Vespas and participate in an enchanting early morning adventure.
The journey begins with a captivating sunrise view from the iconic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, paired with the daily spectacle of the flag-raising ceremony. Following this, we dart to the historic Long Bien Bridge, a must-visit spot for panoramic city views and a glimpse of Hanoi’s morning commute.
Our Vespa tour then ventures into the vibrant heart of Hanoi – Hoan Kiem Lake. There, immerse yourself in the local culture by joining residents in their morning routines, such as exercise, ballroom dancing, or aerobics.
We’ve worked up an appetite by this point in our morning Vespa tour. Prepare for the rest of the day by sampling a Northern Vietnamese specialty, ‘Banh Cuon.’ These delicious, healthy, steamed rice rolls are a local favorite.
We conclude our early morning tour at a local café, where you can’t miss trying an authentic egg coffee. A Hanoi tradition, this creamy concoction is a perfect way to kickstart your day.
Next, we embark on The Insider’s Hanoi Tour. This part of our journey is about exploring the bustling capital city in-depth while riding on our vintage Vespas.
Absorb Hanoi’s rich history and vibrant culture as we visit iconic landmarks and hidden gems, navigate through the narrow market streets, and cross the spectacular bridges.
Experience a bustling local market and a peaceful green city oasis, home to unique kumquat trees.
The tour culminates with a delightful Vietnamese snack at a local family’s residence, marking a perfect end to your adventure-filled day in Hanoi.

We take safety seriously! Guests will sit behind experienced drivers throughout the tour.
Hanoi’s streets can certainly feel overwhelming to first time visitors but rest assured, Vespa Adventures’ tours are safe! Our drivers have been navigating the Hanoi lanes since they were young and understand the unwritten rules of the road. We have also designed the route to follow quieter streets, without fast moving or large vehicles, whenever possible and take extra precaution in the case of heavy traffic or inclement weather.
The Insider’s Hanoi tour runs in the morning and afternoon. The visits are the same on each tour, however the order of stops and routing may change slightly.
Vespa Adventures tours run rain or shine. We include high-quality rain ponchos on each Vespa so if it does start to rain, we’ll pull over, pop on the poncho and continue on our way! The only change will be that on Long Bien bridge we will stop for photos but not drive across as the bridge becomes dangerously slippery in wet conditions.
